Patricia R. (Daino) Bonetti, 95, a resident of Fairfield for nearly 70 years, and beloved wife of 74 years to Dante Bonetti, died peacefully at her home August 28. Born in Bridgeport, she graduated from Warren Harding High School in 1938.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Nancy Hynes, and her husband Philip, of Newtown and son Kenneth Bonetti, and his wife Elene, of Stratford. She was the proud grandmother of Philip Hynes. and his wife Kristin, of Shelton, Jill Hynes and Vin Penry of Newtown, Dara Bonetti Cates, and her husband Dale, of Ansonia, and Robert Bonetti, and his wife Jaime, of Stratford. Seven great-grandchildren also survive Mrs Bonetti.

Finding the love of her life in Dante, her devotion to him knew no bounds, and their amazing relationship was very loving, close, and joyful. She was a devoted and loving mother, who gave encouragement and support to her children in all their endeavors, always with unconditional love. When she became a grandmother and great-grandmother, she continued to entertain, delight, and love her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with equal passion. A wonderful homemaker and cook, there was no crisis or problem that she felt a good home-cooked meal could not make better. Her endless generosity, kindness, hugs, and kisses are what she is most remembered for by those she loved.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Vitas Hospice Care and nurses Donna and Addie.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield, at 11 am, Thursday, September 10. Friends and family may pay their respects between 10:30 and 11 am, prior to the start of the Mass. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
