Pie Bake-Off Competition Approaching

On Saturday, September 17, Senior Helpers will sponsor its 1st Annual Newtown Pie Bake-Off in the Alexandria Room of Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street.

Residents are invited to bake their best apple, peach, cherry, and blueberry pies, and bring them to the town hall by 1 pm. Judging will run until 3 pm, with a pie eating contest scheduled immediately thereafter.

First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded in each category and will include gift certificates to local restaurants and the movies. Ribbons will also be awarded. Pies are to be baked at home and brought in for judging.
