Get The Most From FamilySearch.org And The Family History Center
On Wednesday, September 14, at 7 pm, professional genealogist Penny Hartzell will be the featured speaker for the Genealogy Club of Newtown.
Ms Hartzell will discuss how to research ancestors using the genealogy website FamilySearch.org, including a live demonstration. In addition, she will describe the many genealogy resources available at the LDS Family History Center in Newtown.
The club meets in the community room of C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
Ms Hartzell is president of the Connecticut Professional Genealogists Council and the assistant librarian at the LDS Family History Center in Newtown. She is also a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania.
