A Special Life Lost

To the Editor:

To the woman who works at The Newtown Bee that lives on Scudder Road: Thank you for finding our kitty Tat in the road and not leaving him at 7:30 in the morning. Unfortunately, whoever ran over him, left him for dead. We made it to the emergency vet that you recommended, but we had to put him down. He had two missing teeth, a severed spine, and brain damage. As you can see from my profile picture he was a beautiful special cat; he only lived to be 3. He has left behind his brothers Steddy, Morgan, and Max, who are looking for him constantly and miss him.

I see him every time I walk out my door lying in the road ... lifeless and barely breathing in the road and I see him in the back seat of my car as my husband holds him tightly, slowly dying and in pain. My 8-year-old daughter, Summer, cried this morning because her cat Tat was not sitting on the sink as she brushed her teeth to go to school. My older daughter Brooke is crushed forever because he won’t be there to give her kisses.

We miss you and love you very much you brought so much sunshine to our lives for the little time you were here. RIP Tatty.
