It Takes A Community
To the Editor:
On behalf of the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library, I thank each and every one who made this yearâs 30th Annual Labor Day Book Sale a great success.Â
We hope our library patrons will thank those who made this yearâs sale possible: Bethel Handyman Hardware, Boy Scout Troop #70, C.H. Booth Library staff, DeMarco Miles and Murphy Management Company, Fairfield Hills Management Committee, Fairfield Hills Security Staff, First Selectmanâs Office, Lexington Gardens, Newtown Highway Department, Newtown Hardware, Newtown Insurance Company, Newtown Lions Club, Newtown Police Department, Pudelz Tee Shirts, Ray Shaw, Stamford Tent Company, Stop and Shop, and all the book sale Volunteers â Thank You!
Many thanks to Joe and Mitch Girgasky and Nate who alarmed our 13,200 square foot tent.
And Eric, you know we couldnât do it without you.
This has been a challenging year for the Friends book sale. We have transported books from one location to another before they found their way to the tables under the tent. It is now time to identify a permanent space for the Friends of the Library Book Sale. Any ideas or assistance in meeting this goal would be truly appreciated.
