Premie Reunion

Bethel — Danbury Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) invites all NICU graduates, their parents, siblings, and other family members to attend the 11th Danbury Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Reunion on Saturday September 17. This outdoor event takes place at Capellaro’s Grove, 42 Vail Road in Bethel, from 12 to 4 pm. Guests will enjoy plenty of refreshments and activities.

“It’s been five years since we hosted this event and the NICU staff is excited for this year’s reunion,” said NICU nurse and Newtown resident Laura Mitchell, RN, who organized the event along with her NICU co-workers. “I appreciate all the sponsors for coming forward and sponsoring this special day for graduates of the NICU and their families. We look forward to seeing them again outside of the unit.”

Sponsors this year include Danbury Hospital, Crean and Gallagher Management, Wild River Custom Screen Printing in Newtown, Cold Stone Creamery in Danbury, Babies R’ Us in Danbury, Similac, Medela and Mead Johnson.

Preregistration is necessary. Those planning to attend should contact the Danbury Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at 739-7258 no later than Friday, September 9.
