Animal Center Adoption Day

MONROE — The Animal Center of Newtown will hold an adoption day for cats and kittens on Saturday, September 10, from noon to 2 pm at Paws on Main, 268 Main Street, next to Senior Panchos restaurant.

Newtown residents interested in a furry lifetime friend can meet some of the center’s zany and loving cats and kittens for adoption. Adopting from the center offers a number of benefits included in a new cat’s adoption fee: spay/neuter, vaccines, deworming and testing for certain infectious diseases. The center’s locally based team is always on hand to answer any questions about the cats and kittens after they have been adopted.

The Animal Center is a recently formed Newtown-based charity focused on animal welfare. The center is currently providing rescue and adoption services to abandoned cats and kittens. More information, including a video, about The Animal Center can be found at www.theanimalcenter.org.
