Artifact ID Day
WASHINGTON â Ever wonder what that artifact you found was used for, how it was made, even its age? Dr Lucianne Lavin, the director of research and collections at The Institute for American Indian Studies (IAIS), invites the public to bring items from their personal collection for identification and discussion during the museumâs Artifact ID Day. The program will be ongoing between 1 and 4 pm, and visitors are limited to eight items. Reservations are not required; call the museum, which is at 38 Curtis Road, at 860-868-0518 for details.
