Ellen A. Orosz

Ellen A. (Kowalski) Orosz, 80, of Marlborough, Mass., formerly of Newtown, died August 28 at home after a lengthy illness.

She leaves her husband of 59 years, Frank Orosz, as well as a daughter, Clo Maxwell, and her husband, Bill Maxwell, also of Marlborough, Mass. She also leaves two grandsons, Taylor Maxwell and Derrick Maxwell, both of Marlborough.

Mrs Orosz was born in Southbury, daughter of the late John and Sophia (Matula) Kowalski, and she has lived in Marlborough for the past seven years.

She was a graduate of Southbury High School. She worked as an assembler for many years at the Plastic Moulding Company in Newtown, and she also worked at the Churchill Business Forms Company in Newtown.

Mrs Orosz was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Marlborough, Mass., and she was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking and baking.

A funeral was held September 3 at the John P. Rowe Funeral Home, Inc, 57 Main Street, Marlborough, Mass., with a mass performed in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect Street,  Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough,  Mass.
