Volunteers Needed For STS Thrift Shop

SOUTHBURY — Southbury Training School Volunteer Services will host a new volunteer recruitment happy hour on Wednesday, September 13, from 3 to 5 pm.

The event will take place at Thrift Shop Too, on Southbury Training School grounds. The store is on Route 172, approximately 2½ miles from I-84 exit 14. Signs are posted.

Volunteer positions are available for as little as three hours per week at both thrift shops operated by the training school. Information will be available during the happy hour concerning volunteer opportunities. Refreshments will be served.
