Antique Appraisals In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD — An antiques appraisal day will be hosted by Brookfield Historical Society on Sun, Sept 17, from 1 to 4 pm. Linda Schramm, a noted local antiques dealer, will coordinate the event.

Ms Schramm will be offering appraisals on glass and furniture. Also participating will be Len Hanley, a specialist in militaria; Virginia Newell, who will be able to offer advice on 18th and 19th Century items; and Ken Kolski, an American art pottery expert.

Appraisals are $5 per item, with visitors limited to no more than three items per person. Proceeds will benefit Brookfield Historical Society and its museum, located at the intersection of routes 133 and 25 in Brookfield Center, which is where the appraisals event will be held.
