Bethlehem Fair Returning September 11-13
BETHLEHEM â The 85th Bethlehem Fair will return to the townâs fairgrounds on Route 61 from Friday, September 11, through Sunday, September 13. Gates will be open 5 to 11 pm on Friday, 8 am to 11 pm on Saturday, and 7:30 pm on Sunday.
Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors on Saturday and Sunday, and free for ages 12 and under. Visa and MasterCard will be accepted.
New this year will be the addition of flush toilets, in building that have just been constructed. There will also be a fried dough eating contest on Saturday at 5 pm, a preserves/canning contest sponsored by Ball, and the addition of a three-legged race to the Farmerâs Night Out competition on Saturday.
Cruise Night will be featured on Friday, with cars from the 50s, 60s and 70s and music by The Wanderers on the main stage at 7:30. Amusement rides can be enjoyed from 5 to 10 pm with unlimited ride bracelets.
On Saturday live music will be by Chasing Something Better at 5 and by the cast of Beatlemania at 8:30, both on the main stage. Saturdayâs events will also include the oxen pull, antique tractor pull, music by the Connecticut Bristol Old-Tyme Fiddlers, an exotic bid show, and contests for wood chopping and the Farmerâs Night Out contests.
On Sunday donât miss the hollerinâ contest, horse draw, childrenâs tractor pull, The Eran Troy Danner Band, agri-Olympics and more.
All weekend there will be a scavenger hunt; displays of antique tractors, livestock, fine art including photography; midway games and attractions; commercial vendors, plenty of refreshments, and the Mother Goose Barnyard.
