HARTFORD — Concerned about credit card debt or other personal financial issues? Nonprofit Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Southern New England (CCCS) invites the public to call 800-208-CCCS(2227) on “Take Your Credit Pulse Day” from 10 am to 8 pm, Thursday, September 13, for free advice from CCCS credit counseling experts.

Anyone calling CCCS on “Take Your Credit Pulse Day” will also received a complimentary Credit Pulse Tool Kit  to help manage finances.

“Accredited CCCS counselors will be on hand to answer consumer questions during ‘Take Your Credit Pulse Day,’” said Sue Kelly, CCCS regional education coordinator. “It’s important to offer this free, confidential resource to consumers so they can assess their financial fitness. CCCS is an HUD-certified counseling agency, is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services, Inc, and is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC).
