To the Editor:
Right after the parade in that pouring rain, Barbara Bloom and I were huddled under a small tree on Queen Street waiting for some of the men to dismantle the Republican Town Committee tent. A car drove up to the curb, the window opened, and a woman handed out an umbrella and said “Here, here's an umbrella – you can keep it.”
Now. how nice is that?
