Genealogy Club To Meet Sept. 8

The Genealogy Club of Newtown will hold its first meeting of the 2004-2005 year at the C.H. Booth Library in Newtown on Wednesday, September 8, at 7 pm. New members are cordially invited to attend.

Toni McKeen of Ridgefield will help club attendees get off to a great start by sharing what she has learned in her many years of genealogical research, and from her teaching of genealogy in the Ridgefield area. She strives to inspire her students to expand their knowledge of their families and their history.

Meetings of the Genealogy Club of Newtown are open to the public, and are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the C. H. Booth Library. Club members — from beginning to seasoned genealogists­ — are from Fairfield, Litchfield, and New Haven counties.
