Compassionate Professionalism

To the Editor:

We would both like to thank all of Newtown’s finest — the firemen, the policemen, and the Newtown Ambulance volunteers who came to the scene of our car accident on Wednesday.

The response time of everyone was almost immediate.

They all did their jobs with a compassionate professionalism that put everyone at ease in the midst of a very difficult time.

We are so glad that no one was hurt, but we will never forget how lucky we are to live in Newtown — a place where so many people care for one another.
