Preschool Classes
Preschool Classes
Starting in September NYFS will be offering new preschool classes, for ages 3-6. These classes will be taught in our large activity room at 17 Church Hill Road. Classes will begin the week of September 19, run for seven weeks, and are $40 for the full series. Class details are below; please register by September 13 by calling our office.
*Icky Sticky & Goo: The perfect class for preschoolers to socialize, work on fine motor skills, and create works of art! Make your own edible playdough, super silly putty, and shaving cream art are just a few forms we will experiment with.
We provide the mess and clean up the mess; this is a perfect combination for Moms and Dads! Classes are Tuesdays, 9-9:40 am. We ask that parents provide a smock for their child.
*Story & Snack: Children will be introduced to new characters and stories while making a healthy snack. Classes will meet from 10-10:40 am (no class September 27 or October 25, however).
Please provide us with any food allergies your child has during registration.
*Food Creations: Children will use different types of food to create artwork. Children will be able to use their imagination to make a variety of projects including: necklaces, self-portraits, stamps and much more. Classes are Thursdays, 9-9:40 am.
*Fall Friends- Throw on some comfy clothes and old sneakers as we dive into the upcoming fall season. Children will enjoy bobbing for apples, decorating pumpkins and making their own scarecrow. Classes will be going outside. Please dress your child for outdoor activities.
Classes are Thursdays, 10-10:40 am, and this class will be going outside so children should be dressed for outdoor activities.
