Golf Tourney Was A Success

To the Editor:

The Newtown Junior Women’s Club wants to thank the 130-plus sponsors of our Third Annual Golf Tournament held on August 22.

It was another successful year with over 90 players who enjoyed a sunny day of golf. In addition to an 18-hole round, players participated in a raffle with over 100 donated gifts.

One hundred percent of the $10,000-plus proceeds will go back to the community including funding of all our service programs.

A sincere thank you from all the members of NJWC.
