Camp Counselors Commended

To the Editor:

As our children head back to school I asked them what their favorite part of summer was. Not surprisingly, they answered Treadwell Park Summer Camp.

Our children have attended Treadwell Park camp for several years now and every year they become more and more attached to their counselors. It is nice for them to see familiar faces and to meet new counselors and staff. These young adults hold a very special place in our children’s hearts and provide a positive role model for them.

We would especially like to thank our son’s counselors, Jessie and Ben, and our daughter’s counselors, Lauren and Catie. However, all of the staff did a wonderful job and we look forward to seeing them again next year. We hope that all of the camp staff had a wonderful summer as well and enjoy the upcoming school year. The Parks and Rec Department should be proud of them.
