Max Brazo will be heading to the finals of the 2007 Coopersmith Cup tennis championships in the boys' 14-and-under and 18-and-under divisions after round robin action this past weekend.

Max Brazo will be heading to the finals of the 2007 Coopersmith Cup tennis championships in the boys’ 14-and-under and 18-and-under divisions after round robin action this past weekend.

The Coopersmith Cup is the junior tournament of the Newtown Tennis Association which coincides with the annual Bertram A. Stroock Memorial Tennis Tournament.

Brazo will be battling Kevin Culligan in the 14-and-under division and Evan Batzer in the 18-and-under division. In the boys’ 10-and-under division, Peter Winans and Kai Hedin will tussle for a title.

In the girls’ 14-and-under division, Meghan Loose and Ali Brazo will battle in the finals while Jenna Himmelfarb and Patricia Culligan will go at it in the girls’ 18-and-under division.

The finals will be played Sunday, September 9, at Dickinson Park.
