Enjoy âDinner With Friendsâ
At The Little Theatre
Beginning September 14, Town Players of Newtown will present the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Dinner With Friends, directed by Larry Kinnear of Bethel.
Written by playwright Donald Margulies, the play tells the story of two married couples who have been best friends for years. In their Connecticut home, Karen and Gabe, international food writers (played by Danette Riso of Redding and Charlie Cowles of Newtown), are giving a dinner for Beth and Tom (played by Kristi McKeever of Brookfield and Chris Luongo of Newtown), which Tom does not attend.
A broken relationship crushes one coupleâs expectations that the four would âgrow old and fat together.â
