BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Craft Center’s Annual Open House offers guests a closer look at local artists’ crafts, including the work of several Newtown residents. On Sunday, September 3, from 1 to 4 pm, are demonstrations from the roughly 30 artists associated with the center and will include Joanne Conant’s enameling, Liz Alpert Fay’s rug hooking, and Wayne and Carol Smith’s woodcarving. The event is free to the public.

The center’s annual student/faculty Pottery & Glasswork Sale will also be held this day and will feature a large assortment of items for sale. For more information call 775-4526 or visit the website at www.brookfieldcraftcenter.org.
