Celiac Program On Sept 14

DANBURY — The Nutmeg Celiac Group will meet at 7:30 pm on Friday, September 14, at the Community Center for Behavioral Health on Lake Avenue.

Nancy Salem, a registered dietitian and the group’s adviser, will present a program entitled “How to Maximize Your Nutrition on a Celiac Diet.”

Sterk’s Bakery will return with their baked goods from Canada that are appropriate for those with Celiac disease. New products will be available to taste and to purchase.

The center is located in the Connecticut Labor Department building on Lake Avenue, left off Exit 4 of I-84, just past the fourth traffic light.
