To the Editor:

Regarding “Don’t Get Gaslit” (Letter Hive, August 23, 2024):

“We are not going back.” Going back to what, she asks. Well, I would like to mention to Ms Hawley the following:

We are not going back to the chaotic Trumpian years that drove us to historically high debit for no gain, and left the Country in a drastic condition. Recall the epitome of incompetence in handling the CoVid pandemic (over one million dead with an economic disaster).

We certainly don’t want to go there now that President Biden has brought the Country to a sound, vibrant economy (all-time highs in the Stock Market, and extremely low unemployment).

To even consider for a minute that a world-class liar, and convicted felon (not to mention a convicted womanizer) has the moral capacity to lead a thriving nation is beyond comprehension — no less being an exemplar example for the youth of this great nation!

So, YES!, we are not going back. We are going forward to a far better place with the Harris/Walz administration.
