A Fair Question

To the Editor:
In a letter to The Bee (Letter Hive, August 23, 2024), Tiffany Hawley wrote “It’s OK to question anything.”
So here is my question: Why do I pay more tax to the IRS in some years, than Donald Trump pays? I’m over age 80.

Really? You should study the tax laws to understand how someone can take certain deductions to reduce their tax bill.

Wow, if this doesn’t clarify the new policy as a witch hunt I don’t know what will. “Pretty soon we will know who you are”. In some venues that could be seen as threatening. Remember back when Bruce was running for office and he was all about being “non-partisan”.
Pretty sure that since Bruce isn’t a registered Republican this can’t be defined as a threat of violence.
