Parents chalked words of encouragement on the sidewalks outside of Reed Intermediate School, prior to the August 25 first day of school, to greet the 2019-20 school year students. Different sayings were written in chalk, like “Make a new friend” and “It’s a good day,” as pictured. Other greetings included “Reed staff rocks” and “Begin each day with a smile.”
