To the Editor:

FAITH Food Pantry is in great need of donations, as our shelves are down to alarmingly low levels.

Volunteers will be walking in the Labor Day parade, collecting food and monetary donations to help stock the shelves as the holidays loom around the corner.

Please consider bringing food donations with you to the parade on Monday and watch for FAITH volunteers collecting along the route. Should you need ideas on what to donate, we are very low on the following products: pasta, mac and cheese, peanut butter, jelly and jam, baked beans, corned beef hash, canned beef stew, cereal, crackers, cookies, lunch snacks; toiletries: shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, etc.; toilet tissue and paper towels.
