Update On Type I Diabetes

DANBURY –– The Diabetes Club of Danbury will present “Update on Type I Diabetes” on Monday, September 15, from 7:30 to 9 pm, at Danbury Hospital.

The featured speakers will be Robert Ruxin, MD, from the hospital’s department of medicine, section of internal medicine; Robert Savino, DO, chief of the hospital’s section of endocrinology and metabolism; registered dietitian Linda Martinez, and Rebecca Palmer, a registered nurse and certified diabetes educator.

The program will be held on the third floor of the South Building in back of the cafeteria. No registration is required.

There may be multiple displays by vendors to view before the program begins. Light refreshments also will be served. Park free in the blue visitor’s parking lot, Hospital Avenue entrance.
