Ed Muraszkin and Chad Eaton were the first flight champions of the recent Newtown Country Club three-day member-guest tournament. Other winners included –

Second flight – Joe Humeston (pictured at right putting on second green) and Art Haddad; Third flight – Mark Simms and Mike Kroproski; Fourth flight – Joe Gantert and Harold Gantert; Fifth flight – Brian Flood and Ron Molles; Sixth flight – Randy Watkins and John Bailey; Seventh flight – Bob Johnson and Mike Johnson.

Overall, the winners of the Hogan Division were Mark Simms and Mike Koproski while the winners of the Sarazen Division were Bob Johnson and Mike Johnson.
