Luis and Stephanie Fernandes of Arlyn Ridge Road, Newtown, announce the birth of a daughter, Kayla Grace Fernandes, at 10:31 am on August 18 at Danbury Hospital.

Kayla Grace weighed seven pounds, one ounce, and she was 20 inches long.

She joins her brother, Jake Fernandes, who is nearly 2.
