Helen Wanzyk

Helen Wanzyk, 84, a longtime resident of Danbury, died August 21, in Danbury. Mrs Wanzyk was the wife of the late Paul J. Wanzyk.

Helen Wanzyk was born in Newtown, December 22, 1918, a daughter of the late Frank and Julia (Felisko) Piskura. She was raised and educated in Newtown and had been a resident of Danbury since the late 1940s.

She is survived by a son, Paul J. Wanzyk, Jr, of Washington; two daughters, Eileen Wanzyk of New Milford and Barbara Wanzyk of Danbury; two brothers, Martin Piskura of New Milford and Andrew Piskura of Roxbury; two sisters, Mary Piskura of Southbury and Jenny Piskura of Bethel.

Funeral services were held August 25 at Honan Funeral Home. Interment was in St Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
