Frank Mario DiTroia

Frank Mario DiTroia, 72, beloved husband of Virginia, a Port St Lucie, Fla., resident for 22 years, formerly of Stratford, died July 4.

His sister, Beatrice Briganti and her husband, Allan, are Newtown residents.

He was the dear father of four children: Gerard F. DiTroia of Shelton, Vincent DiTroia and his wife, Arlene, of Port St Lucie, Diane Bovaloco and her husband, John, of Stratford, and Francine DiTroia of Port St Lucie. He was a loving grandfather to nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Besides Mrs Briganti, he leaves behind two other sisters, Gloria Gavagnini and her husband, Gaetano, of Shelton, and Loretta DelMastro of Monroe. He was predeceased by his parents, Gerardo and Maria Valente DiTroia; and two sisters, Susan DiRolleri and Inez DiTroia. A prayer service was held in the home of his son, Gerard, on Saturday, August 23.
