Momâs Support Groups:
Moms of newborns to walkers, 10 weeks, beginning on Wednesday, September 19. There will be two sessions â 9 to 10 am and 10:30 to 11:30 am.
Moms of 1 to 2 year olds, 10 weeks, beginning on Thursday, September 20, from 10 to 11 am.
Both groups will meet at NYS and are free. Space is limited so please call to register.
Sibshops starting â free support group for siblings of children with special needs. Meeting the second Thursday of every month, starting September 13, 5:30 to 7:30 pm, pizza served. Please call Newtown Youth Services to register.
Support Group for Parents of Children with Learning Differences now forming. Learning differences include LDs, ADD, medical needs, and autism. Meeting Monday mornings, bimonthly, 9:30 to 11 am, starting September 17. For more information, call the NYS office.
Labor Day Parade â Calling all friends of Newtown Youth Services. You are all welcome and encouraged to join in the line of march. Please check the parade section for location. Hope to see many of you.

YOUTH GROUP MEETINGS
HS YAB (High School Youth Advisory Board) â An open house will be held for any high school student who is interested in joining the HS YAB. Stop by Newtown Youth Services at 41-A Main Street at 6 pm on Monday, September 10. Call 270-4335 for more information.
The HS YAB will meet next Monday, September 24, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
 MS YAB (Middle School Youth Advisory Board) â The first meeting will be on Tuesday, September 25, at Newtown Youth Services, from 4 to 5 pm.
NYCAAP will begin their year on Tuesday, September 11, at 5:30 pm
