Rain Or Shine

REDDING — Redding Historical Society’s 26th Annual Redding Antiques Fair will be Saturday, September 8, from 10 am to 4 pm rain or shine. The outdoor show and sale will be at Lonetown Farm, on Route 107 in Redding Center.

Dealers in primitive paintings, weathered wrought iron; experts in quilts, pine furniture, advertising art, pottery and more will gather on the historic grounds of Lonetown Farm to ply their wares.

Visitors can browse to the strains of strolling bagpipers, tour the 1788 farmhouse and 19th Century barn where craftsmen demonstrate their skills, watch the tinsmith form a lantern or the basket maker weave her willow and have snack under the tent provided by the Men’s Club of the Congregational Church.
