Theodore Edward Budsynski, 89, a 40-year resident of Sandy Hook, died August 27, in Danbury Hospital. Mr Budsynski was the husband of Dolores (Rabel) Budsynski. He was born in Passaic, N.J., November 20, 1923, a son of Anna and Stanley Budsynski.

Mr Budsynski proudly served in the US Army in the European Theater during World War II, and retired from Uniroyal after 40 years of dedicated service.

He was an avid golfer and bowler.

In addition to his wife of 59 years, survivors include a daughter, Barbara Richmond, and her husband Jim; a son, Ken; two grandchildren, Jim and Kristin and their spouses Laurie and Eric; and a sister, Josephine Kosik of Southbury.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, Friday, August 30, at 10:30 am. Interment will be private. There are no calling hours.

The Honan Funeral Home, Newtown, is serving the family.
