What Is Newtown Coming To?

To the Editor:

It is astonishing after all this time that our Animal Control Officer Carolee Mason has been in training that the town officials have the moxie to now demote her... or even to offer her a kennel position. Did anyone just hear my jaw drop? What is this town coming to?

This is the most ludicrous town news I have heard since the start of all this nonsense. The people of Newtown have not forgotten the unfair torture, embarrassment, and downright harassment the town officials subjected Carolee Mason to through numerous town meetings over their allegations of duty neglect.

I think it is time that we, citizens of Newtown, straighten up our backs and decide to go out and make a change in our town government when voting time comes around.

It is completely obvious that these town officials have been shady regarding the whole situation with Carolee Mason. What else are they being shady about?
