Ten-Year Anniversary—

Telecom Firm Opening Global Ops Center

In keeping with plans to further expand services, Newtown-based TnT Expense Management this week announced the opening of its Global Network Operations Center (GNOC). TnT’s GNOC is the nerve center of TnT’s global operations, and a state-of-the-art quality control showcase which ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction, according to a company release.

TnT Expense Management, which is based in the Curtis Corporate Park, offers a complete range of managed services designed to reduce or optimize telecom and wireless expenses for global enterprise clients in all major industries and government.

Designed to operate around the clock, the GNOC provides monitoring of operations for all of TnT’s global clients. With multiple large video screens the GNOC is a state-of-the-art master control center that can display more than 150 reports providing a comprehensive view for TnT’s TEM operations, processes, and client service level agreements (SLAs) around the world.

“The new projection system will be invaluable to ensuring continuous quality and best-in-class service for TnT’s valued clients,” said Tony Bodetti, TnT’s chief operating officer. “The wallboards monitor patterns and operational metrics to ensure the highest level of security, service, and performance management.”

TnT has a dedicated staff that works to incorporate quality control practices into its daily activities. It has implemented standardized processes and quality control protocols.

The TnT GNOC takes these quality control initiatives to the next level with a flexible control panel that allows TnT to adjust thresholds at the client, carrier, or analyst level. This cutting-edge technology is a centerpiece for operational control with multitier reporting and alerts that include visual displays, email notifications, and audible signals.

TnT’s quality control focus includes monitoring of more than 15 client processes.

“Our GNOC is the central vehicle with which we not only manage our internal operations but also how we ensure we meet our client deliverables on a global scale,” said Lori Thomas, vice president –global head of client services. “We are very proud to have been recognized by the industry and our clients as unmatched in innovation for this development. It all goes back to consistent, quality performance and management.”

The Sandy Hook company recently celebrated its ten-year anniversary. The Management Team, along with the help of its employees, provided entertainment and a celebratory atmosphere during a catered luncheon and awards presentation.

“Back in 1999 I started TnT in my garage with just a few people, and by continually focusing on providing quality products and service we have grown to a multinational company “ said Mr Bodetti who founded the company. “TnT has grown and has stayed the course even through this tough economic time. We have kept to our core, which is our commitment to quality service to our clients, and that is what we provide.”

“It is a very exciting time for TnT,” Ms Thomas added. “In November we moved into this great new ‘Green’ building with our Global Network Operations Center to manage our business and service our clients. We opened our second international office and now here we are celebrating tem years of longevity and success. Yes, there is a lot going on.”
