Golankiewicz Swims At Junior Nationals

Andrew Golankiewicz, 17, of Sandy Hook, competed at the USA Swimming Junior National Championships in Federal Way, Washington August 10-14. He swam the 200-meter backstroke (2:12.29), 200 freestyle (1:59.37), 100 backstroke (1:01.97) and the 100 freestyle (55.40).

All four times were personal bests for Golankiewicz, a member of the Wilton Y Wahoos swim team and a senior at Fairfield Prep.
