Small Business Tax Workshop
TRUMBULL â A free small business tax workshop will be offered on Friday, September 14, at the Trumbull Library on 33 Quality Street from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. The workshop will provide an overview of tax issues relating to small businesses.
Topics to be covered by speakers from the Internal Revenue Service, the State of Connecticut Department of Revenue Services, and US Department of Labor include federal and state tax filing requirements, types of business organizations, common business deductions, record keeping, employment taxes, state sales and use taxes, and the minimum wage. The workshop is for both the small business entrepreneur and those who are considering going into business.
