Newcomers’ Kick-Off On September 6

Newtown Newcomers Club will host its annual New Members Kick-Off in the Alexandria Room of Edmond Town Hall, Main Street, on Thursday, September 6, from 7:30 to 9 pm.

The invitation is extended to anyone who is a resident of Newtown or Sandy Hook. All new residents are invited as well as people in town who would like to get involved in the club’s activities. Members do not have to be new in town to participate and make new friends. The club is also meant as an outlet for anyone going through a change in life including sending children off to college, starting or leaving a job, or anything else new in life.

Opportunities to receive information on the many club activities for women, men, and children will be provided. Activity coordinators, along with members of the club’s board, will be available to answer any inquiries about the club and its activities. Coffee and refreshments will be served.

Regular meetings are held the second Tuesday morning of each month at Newtown Meeting House.
