Edward F. Walsh

Edward F. Walsh, 79, of the Huntington section of Shelton, died August 26 in his home.

He was the brother of Harry H. Walsh of Sandy Hook and Dorothy Pellitier of Newtown.

Mr Walsh was born in Bridgeport, and was a Huntington resident all of his life. He was a retired machinist for Coulter McKenzie Company. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal.

Survivors also included two other brothers, John L. Walsh of Huntington and Thomas R. Walsh of Beacon Falls; four other sisters, Gladys Federowicz, Marion Kotenski, and Sally Schiffer, all of Huntington, and Anne Bove of Bridgeport. He was predeceased by a sister, Alice Kepchar.

Funeral services took place on August 29 from the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, and in St Lawrence Church, Huntington. Interment with full military honors was in Lawn Cemetery, Huntington.
