On Labor Day the Newtown Congregational Church will hold it’s Annual Pancakes and Parking from 8 until 9:30 am, at 14 West Street. The price is $6 per person or $20 per family.

At the same time, the “kick off” of its Second Annual Raffle will take place. The “Sun, Ski or Sip” Raffle choices will be: First Prize — Select one of the three choices of a Cancun Paradise Vacation; or Lake Tahoe Ski Getaway; or Sonoma Coast & Napa Vineyards in California. Second Prize: Westchester Dinner Theatre tickets for two. Third Prize: a $100 Gift Certificate for Cafe on the Green in Danbury. Only 800 tickets will be sold at $20 each. They will also be sold at the Labor Day Parade.

The Newtown Congregational Church invites the community to come and enjoy the wonderful pancake breakfast, meet old and new friends, and then perhaps take a chance on a fantastic vacation after the end of the raffle, which will be January 11, 2020.
