Kathleen “Kathy” Louise Reichardt, 67, of Newtown died peacefully August 17 at Danbury Hospital, after her three-year battle with cancer. She was born in Danbury, June 8, 1947, the daughter of Isabel and Henry Stine. 

Ms Reichardt was an accomplished gardener and built many beautiful stone walls around her property.  She lived for Bingo nights with her family, and loved listening to and singing country music. She is remembered as a very kind, loving, giving person and devoted to her church.

 Her husband, Charles “Chuck” Reichardt; her two children, Christine and Robert Johnson; her four stepchildren, Amy, Ginny, Julie, and Penny; her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her sisters Vivian and Bernice; and her brother John survive Ms Reichardt.

A memorial service will take place at Grace Family Church, 174 Mt Pleasant Road, Newtown, at 7:30 pm, Thursday, September 4.
