To the Editor:

Several weeks ago, as owners of the Art in Residence fine art gallery, we were invited to attend a S.H.O.P. meeting to hear more about the upcoming Sandy Hook Artwalk. While there, we met Melissa Lopata, the event marketing director.

At her request, Rosemary became an advisor with regard to the selection and installation of art works in the various Sandy Hook shops.

Melissa is easy going, savvy and sincere in her commitment to see Sandy Hook prosper in every way.

Thanks to a fortunate stroke of serendipity, we will have a pop up art gallery for the month of September in an available shop front, a classic example of a pop up arrangement.

As a wonderful show of support for Sandy Hook business owners, property owner, Ray Costanzo has agreed to let us use the space at 100 Church Hill Road, suite 104a.

We are proud and pleased to be a part of the revitalization of the Sandy Hook community under the banner of the S.H.O.P. Artwalk. And are in total agreement with the consensus, it is the arts that can and will provide the stage for our Sandy Hook community to flourish.

We are very appreciative to have this opportunity to invite the community to come enjoy the Artwalk  experience.
