NEW YORK CITY — The Marbella Gallery will mount an exhibition that evokes visions and remembrances of panoramic scenic representations of places visited, as celebrated by American artists. See sweeping views of mountains as they gaze down into valleys, as well as views and aesthetic images of ancient towns in an exhibit opening September 18 and running through November 16.

Through fine paintings by more than 30 American artists, visit the geographical wonders of Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Canyon, San Francisco, India, Austria, Venice and the Caribbean Islands. Stumbling on to old places with fine traditions that complement an area, enjoy its artistic heritage through the compositional skills and inspiration of American interpreters.

Artists included in the show are A.T. Bricher, Samuel Brecher, Karl Buehr, George Inness, Homer D. Martin, Emil Carlsen, Eliot Clark, Robert Hallowell, William T. Richards, Tsar and Alexander H. Wyant.
