Literary Volunteers Needs Adult Tutors

DANBURY — Literacy Volunteers of America-Danbury is seeking adult volunteers to serve as teachers and tutors for the fall semester, which will begin September 13. Orientation and training will be provided at the Literacy Volunteers headquarters, 261 Main Street.

This semester Literacy Volunteers-Danbury is offering Basic Computer Literacy, as well as Smart Money, a course in basic financial literacy. Volunteers with a basic background in those subjects are needed to teach each of those subjects.
