Beverly Ann Clerico

Beverly Ann (Smith) Clerico, 63, died August 18 in the St John Medical Center, Tulsa, Okla.

Beverly was born November 13, 1940, in Pawhuska, Okla., the daughter of William S. and Rose M. (Bordeaux) Smith.

Surviving are her husband, John Anthony Clerico of Tulsa; her daughter, Diane (Clerico) Deakin and husband Brendan of Newtown; her grandson, Liam Deakin of Newtown; her brothers and sisters, Norma and Gayle Artz of Dewey, Okla., Lloyd and Jeanelle Smith of Pawhuska, Alice Janitz of Tulsa, Tom and Lyda Smith of Fort Worth, Texas, Jim and Kaye Smith of Tupelo, Miss., and Don and Sallae Smith of Pawhuska; and other family and friends. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Roger Smith and Eugene Smith, and one sister, Alma Kallenberger.

Beverly was raised in Pawhuska, graduating with the Pawhuska High School Class of 1958, and attended Oklahoma State University for two years.

On September 3, 1962, she married John Anthony Clerico in Pawhuska. During their 41-year marriage, the couple lived all over the United States and in London, England. The past four years, the couple had resided in Tulsa. Beverly was a lifelong member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Pawhuska.

Rosary was held August 22 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Mass was said August 23 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Pawhuska. Father Chris Daigle officiated at the services. Interment was in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.

Johnson Funeral Home of Pawhuska was in charge of arrangements.
