Newtown Resident Promoted At Quinnipiac University

HAMDEN — Quinnipiac University has named Diana Pategas of Newtown as the university’s executive director of development.

Ms Pategas joined Quinnipiac in April 2003 as a major gifts officer.

Prior to joining the staff at Quinnipiac, Ms Pategas was a major gifts officer at St Bonaventure University in Olean, N.Y. She also served in a variety of development positions at Whitworth College in Spokane, Wash., from 1992 to 2001.

Ms Pategas has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Whitworth.

   Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston.
