NVCC Adds New Real Estate Course

Due to overwhelming response to the Real Estate Principles and Practices courses, Naugatuck Valley Community College has added an additional section. Students can register up to September 5 for the Principles and Practices section now being offered on Thursday evenings, from 6 to 9 pm. The class runs from September 20 through December 13.

This course is required by the State of Connecticut in order to become a real estate sales person. Topics include brokerage, listing agreements, and buyer/seller representation; various forms of ownership of real estate; legal descriptions, taxes, contracts, liens, and transferring title. There are still openings available in the Saturday morning class.
