Students Head Back To The Classroom On August 30

The administrators, teachers, custodians, and support staff are ready and waiting to welcome Newtown students back to the classroom on Tuesday, August 30. Parents and students are asked to review the schedule in preparation for the first day of school.

The Newtown Board of Education bell times for the 2005-2006 school year have been established according to the enrollment information available to them as of August 1, 2005.

Bell times for the schools are as follows:

•    High School, 7:30 am–1:52 pm.

•    Middle School, 7:30 am– 1:52 pm.

•    Reed Intermediate School, 8:15 am–2:39 pm.

•    Hawley, 8:24 am–2:36 pm.

•    St Rose, 8:05–2:39 pm.

•    Fraser Woods, 8:15 am–      3 pm.

•    Housatonic, 8:15 am–3 pm.

•    Sandy Hook, 9:10 am–    3:22 pm.

•    Head O’ Meadow, 9:10 am–3:22 pm.

•    Middle Gate, 9:10 am–    3:22 pm.

  Kindergarten times are as follows:

•    Hawley, morning, 8:24–11:05 am; afternoon, 11:55–2:36 pm.

•    Sandy Hook, morning, 9:10–11:51 am; afternoon, 12:41–3:22 pm.

•    Head O’ Meadow, morning 9:10–11:51 am; afternoon 12:41–3:22 pm.

•    Middle Gate, morning 9:10–11:51 am; afternoon 12:41–3:22 pm.
